Airtel NG Launches 3Flix Mobile TV for Android Phones

Airtel NG has partnered with Coverage Broadband (a subsidiary of Phase3 Telecom), to launch 3Flix mobile TV service. Airtel will unveil a special plan whereby any customer who subscribe to the special plan will now have unfettered access to 3flix live television channels.

What Is 3Flix?

3Flix is a Mobile TV service which enables users to watch TV channels live on Mobile devices. Focused on emerging markets with a view to offer subscribers a unique technology based experience of TV viewing on Mobile phones without consuming much data. In my own opinion, it seems 3Flix is here to compete with the likes of Netflix, iroko, iFlix etc. 3Flix is a new service that entertains family, and also having over 40 live TV channels covering all genres.

In a statement, the company said,
