Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi Note 7, a smartphone with 48MP rear camera at the back and 13MP camera at the front.

Like most redmi smartphones launched in the past, the note 7 features a mid-range processor, latest version of Android operating system and 4000 mAh battery capacity. All at an affordable price.
Without further ado, let’s dig into the specs, features, review and price of the redmi note 7 from xiaomi.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Design & Display.

Like most recently launched smartphones, the note 7 from redmi line of xiaomi smartphones feature a small notch which can’t be quite referred to as neither tear nor water droplets seen on vivo and oppo phones.
The device uses a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution, 409 PPI pixel density and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display of the 186g light smartphone is protected by corning gorilla glass 5.
At the bottom of the device are the speaker, the USB Type-C port and the microphone. On the left side is the sim+sd card tray while the power and volume buttons resides on the right.

Turning to the rear, the dual 48MP + 5MP camera are vertically arranged in an oval shaped container with the LED flash just under the container.

Performance and Hardware.

The Redmi note 7 is powered by Qualcomm’s 14nm mid range processor, an octa core Snapdragon 660 featuring Adreno 512 GPU. Assisting the processing power is the RAM which is available in three different configuration (3GB, 4GB and 6GB) along side 32GB and 64GB internal storage options.
The note runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie same as the xiaomi mi mix 3.

Camera and Battery.

One of the major highlight of this device is the camera. It features a 48MP + 5MP dual camera at the rear with dual LED flash and the front facing camera is 13MP. Battery capacity wise, it is packed with Li-Po 4000 mAh battery which Xiaomi said can last up to 7 hours of intense gaming with support for quick charge 4.0.

Connectivity.

It has support for USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual band Wi-Fi (hotspot and direct), IR blaster (infra red), fingerprint and fm radio. It is available in black, twilight gold and blue.

How Much is Redmi Note 7 in Nigeria.

The price of xiaomi redmi note 7 is 147 USD (~ 54,000) for the 3GB, 32GB variant, $176 (~ 64,000) for the 4GB, 64GB and $205 USD for the 6GB, 64GB variant (~75,000 Naira). But you can expect the final price to be more than that since the phone is not officially available in Nigeria. Meaning you will have to ship it into the country.
